I absolutely love genealogy and try my best to research everyday.  Although kids and husband and activities come before my search for old family!
Back in 2010 while cleaning out my grandfathers house..........we came across a book called The Prairie Pipe Line Company.  My first thoughts were that it was just an old book about the company........but when we opened it and started turning the pages......we quickly found out that this wasn't just any book.  It gave a small glimpse into the lives of 700+ men and women that were working for the company.  It gave their birthday and birthplace and told you a little of what they did while they worked for the PPLC!  This book listed my Great Grandfather William Johnson.  We didn't know he was a fireman on the pipeline.......
About 2 months ago I started contacting family members via ancestry.com.  If they had a family tree with a person listed in the book......I sent them a quick email and told them I would be more than happy to send over a PDF of their relatives paragraph. 
So in starting this blog.......I am hoping to do the same thing.  I am planning on listing all the men and women from the book here on this blog. 

I was so excited to read about my Great Grandfather and I am more than happy to send you information on your family if you find they are listed here!
